Acceptance

These Terms of Use describe the rules for using Duskio, the Duskio Safari extension, and this website. By using Duskio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Duskio.

License

The developer of Duskio grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Duskio on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms that apply to your download. All rights not granted are reserved.

Permitted Use

Duskio is provided as a Safari utility for restyling webpage presentation on your device. Use it only for lawful personal or internal purposes, and only on websites you are allowed to visit. Do not reverse engineer Duskio except where applicable law allows, and do not use Duskio to interfere with another person’s device, account, or content.

Website Compatibility

Duskio modifies webpage presentation locally. Websites are built in many ways, and some pages may not restyle cleanly. Duskio includes Standard, Compatibility, and Safe Mode so you can choose a gentler approach when a site looks wrong. You should use those modes as appropriate, or turn Duskio off for a specific website.

Third-Party Websites

Duskio does not own third-party websites or their content. Trademarks, articles, images, and other materials on those sites remain the property of their respective owners. Duskio’s visual transformation is a local presentation change and is not a copy, republication, or claim of ownership of that content.

No Guarantee of Universal Rendering

Duskio does not guarantee that every website will look perfect, remain fully functional, or match a site’s own native dark mode. Some pages, web apps, or media-heavy layouts may still appear too bright, too dark, or visually uneven. Those limitations are expected for a client-side appearance utility.

Intellectual Property

Duskio, the Duskio name, and the Duskio app icon are product identifiers of the developer of Duskio. Theme names used in the app describe appearance only and do not imply affiliation, endorsement, partnership, or trademark ownership of any third-party project. You may not copy, redistribute, or sell Duskio except as allowed by Apple’s App Store rules or written permission from the developer.

Updates

Duskio may be updated from time to time to improve compatibility, add themes, fix issues, or change how the product works. Updates may be delivered through the App Store. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated product and of these terms as they then appear on this website.

Disclaimer

Duskio is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Duskio disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Duskio does not warrant uninterrupted operation or error-free rendering of third-party websites.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Duskio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Duskio or from the appearance of third-party websites. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limitation applies only as far as the law allows.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the product or this website changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when that happens. The current terms are always published at https://duskio.net/terms/.
